How we work
More than labour supply: a hands-on subcontracting partner.
We take responsibility for clearly defined steel-construction and building-envelope work packages, rather than simply supplying installation personnel. At least one of our two company leaders is present on every project, working alongside the crew as the on-site team leader and coordinating directly with the client's site management.
Working site leadership
One company leader coordinates daily activities on site, reads drawings, resolves installation issues and supports the crew throughout the work.
Transparent weekly reporting
Clients receive concise weekly progress reports covering completed work, upcoming activities and any decisions or constraints requiring attention.

From steel installers to working project leaders.
Both company leaders began their careers as steel-structure installers and progressed through foreman and site-supervisor roles. Each has five years' hands-on experience leading crews, as well as practical experience operating cranes and a wide range of construction machinery.
That career path shapes how SCS plans and delivers work today. Installation sequencing, equipment selection, logistics and daily coordination are managed by people who have performed the work themselves.
Our wider team includes steel-construction specialists with more than 15 years of trade experience, alongside personnel qualified to operate cranes, tractors, excavators, skid-steer loaders, forklifts and mobile elevating work platforms. Every team member holds a working-at-height qualification.
